Training: Footwork #3 Pad Jumps

A new training method to increase footwork for Boxing/ Kickboxing/ Thaiboxing.

This time I found the routine on the picture gallery of a japanese gym.

Catch something you can jump over, like a kicking pad or something else…
place it between your feet and off you go! 😉

Jump up and turn over 180°, with a bit of practise you can try up to 360°.

First I thought this was easy… but it is quite punishing.. believe it or not! 😉

Meanwhile I use bigger hindrances for my routines and I noticed that my footwork got better. Also my jumping power is considerably improved.
